Biography
Mark Prasse has hospitality in his blood. Born and raised in Vienna Austria, Mark decided at a young age that hospitality was for him. Over the years Mark has studied hospitality in Heidelberg, Germany, managed a hotel in the Schwarzwald, worked on cruise ships, and managed restaurants. In 2003 Mark moved to Brisbane where he has been actively working and providing training at TAFE, in restaurants, cafés and for the Wesley Hospital.
Mark loves good food and is passionate about a high standard of customer service. In his spare time Mark likes to research innovative hospitality developments and try new restaurants. For Mark to indulge with a glass of wine or a stein of Austrian Lager combined with a cheese platter or a home made “Vienna Schnitzel” reminds him of home.
Mark works at Tactile Learning Centre because it is a work environment that supports him and enables him to outwork his passion for passing on his knowledge and experience in Hospitality to benefit others. Mark appreciates that he can work with colleagues who share the same vision and heart for students.
